“A weekend of practice and community as we celebrate the Enlightenment of the Buddha.”

Similar to Sangha Morning there will be led meditations, talks and ritual. There will also be a picnic in the park each day where we share vegetarian food and relax in the friendly atmosphere of our Sangha.

The festival will be led by Aksobhin.

    What time does Dharma Day Festival start and finish?

    Can I attend only one of the days?

    While we encourage you to benefit from both days of the festival, you are welcome to attend a single day of your choosing. Please make sure you book the day you’re coming in the form above as spaces are limited.

    What will the programme be?

    The programme will be similar to Sangha Morning: led meditations, simple rituals, talks on the life of the Buddha. There will be tea breaks as usual. We will also have our picnic in the park from 12.30 to 14.30.

    Where will the picnic be held?

    The picnic will be held in the picnic area to the right of MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, facing LIDL Mosta.

    What food should I bring?

    Please bring vegetarian food to share. No alcohol. The Centre will supply disposable plates and cutlery.

    How much will it cost?

    Attendance is on a donation basis. The recommended donation is €25 per day. If you cannot afford this amount, please feel free to give less.
