Join us for a sound meditation with Tibetan singing bowls, an invitation to pause, breathe and return to stillness. This event is part of a fundraising initiative for Tiratanaloka [UN]limited, supporting the the women’s retreat and ordination centre.

What is sound meditation?
Sound meditation is a guided meditative experience using sound and vibration to support
relaxation, presence and inner stillness.
Do I need previous meditation experience?
No previous experience is needed. The session is suitable for beginners as well as those with
an existing meditation practice.
What should I bring?
Please bring anything that helps you sit or lie down comfortably. Meditation cushions, mats
and blankets will be provided.
Should I sit or lie down during the session?
You may choose the position that feels most comfortable for you. Some people prefer
sitting on a cushion or chair, while others prefer lying down on a mat.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax easily.
How long does the session last?
The session lasts approximately one hour.
Is booking required?
Booking is recommended, as places may be limited.
Is the event suitable for everyone?
Most people can take part comfortably, but please let the organiser know in advance if you are pregnant, have sound sensitivity, epilepsy, or any condition that may affect your comfort during the session.
How much will it cost?
RAttendance is on a donation basis. All donations collected will support the fundraising
initiative for Tiratanaloka [UN]limited.
Are there any other activities available?
Everybody is welcome to attend Sangha Morning at the Centre every Saturday 10.30 to 13.00, for guided meditation, talks on Buddhism and to enjoy community. This is suitable for beginners as well as experienced people.
